Savory Pear Tart

INGREDIENTS

4 oz goat cheese

4 oz blue cheese

3 TBS Rosemary Olive Oil

2 TBS honey

2 tsp Cranberry Pear Balsamic

1Sheet frozen pastry ( I used Pepperidge Farm)

1 pear cored and cut into thin slices


METHOD

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Blend cheeses and 2.5 TBS of olive oil until creamy
  • Thaw pastry and place on baking sheet, puncture with a fork thoroughly, leaving about a half inch around the edge
  • Spread cheese blend evenly over the punctured area of the pastry
  • Arrange pear slices and brush with remaining olive oil
  • Place dish in oven and bake for about 15 minutes
  • While tart bakes blend honey and balsamic
  • Remove tart when tart is golden and drizzle with honey mixture serve immediately
